Job Description

Vibe Recruit's client is looking to recruit a Sales/Account Manager on a full time permanent contract, based out of their Manchester office. A fantastic oppportunity working for a world class manufacturer.

Overall Objective:

Customer relationship management with customers. Customer and revenue retention and generation in line with business and financial targets. Identification of customer contractual requirements and new revenue development opportunities. Quotation and order execution to agreed quality, service and delivery targets.

Area of responsibilty:

  • Commercial conditions (T&C's) requirements reviewed, captured and executed within the ERP system
  • Quotations aligned within agreed product costing, margins and service models
  • Internal set up of customer product portfolio and portals
  • Monitoring and reporting of account performance (value, growth and margin)
  • Identification of account risks and effective mitigations (inc warranties & liabilities)
  • Support the creation of commercial agreements (contracts and pricing)
  • Review and regeneration of legacy customer accounts
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) KPI's established and monitored.
  • Capture and communication of customer change requests (products and services)
  • Identify new opportunities and service improvements to client product and service portfolio
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge of applicable portfolios and services
  • Support the training and development of the customer service teams
  • Marketing, support for product placement and promotions

Experience

Essential:

  • 2+ years in a similar sales role
  • Building and establishing excellent customer relationships and retention
  • Pricing and quotation - Understanding and use of product/service costing models
  • Customer account reviews and reporting
  • Customer complaints systems and issue resolutions
  • Contract and commercial reviews

Desirable:

  • Relevant industry background
  • Manufacturing sales experience
  • M1 ERP System

Skills & Aptitude

Essential:

  • Attention to detail ensuring accuracing in all levels of work
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, face to face and over the phone
  • Gaining commitment
  • Interpreting mechanical drawings and customer specifications

Desirable:

  • Advanced in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Commercial and financial awareness
