Senior Quality Engineer

As the Senior/Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and resolution of OEM quality issues.

Responsibilities will include:

• Verification of quality instructions and work instructions issued for quality issues are correct.
• You will ensure quality issues are clearly communicated to the appropriate suppliers and engage with supplier representatives to steer the problem resolution process and challenge proposed solutions.
• You will guarantee third party sorting actions onsite are dealt with efficiently and effectively, and containment activity is transferred to suppliers as quickly as possible, escalating problems and suppliers where necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous quality engineering experience in an automotive or aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Possession of an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent education required.
• Proven capability to apply Quality problem-solving tools efficiently is essential.
• Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
