Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager on the lookout for an exciting new role for a growing manufacturer with a great reputation? Does the thought of working in an Engineering environment on a number of interesting new products appeal to you?

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to join a leading Engineering Manager in Neath. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company as they go through a substantial period of growth.

As Supply Chain Manager you will analyse and take any steps necessary to improve the overall productivity of the supply chain whilst coming up with strategies to speed up the processes of packing, loading and delivering products.

As Supply Chain Manager you will:

• Review and update supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
• Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices
• Implement logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse
• Analyse the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place
• Identify and minimise risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process
• Manage inventory, packing and distributing
• Knit together the supply chain from suppliers / sub contractors to customer liaison and despatch.
