Support Worker

Vibe Care Agency are seeking experienced Support Workers to support people in supported living services in the West Dorset area. This is a flexible role working with a well established agency to fit shifts around any other commitments.

Covering 17 locations, we support people either living on their own or in shared accommodation in supported living services. Postcode areas DT1 / DT4

Pay Rates £13.15 - £14.00 enhancement for BH working. Sleep-In rate £75.00

Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex behaviours & complex health support are essential however additional training can be provided.

Shifts vary depending on the individual services:

08.00 - 20.00

07.30-14.30 / 14.30-21.30

20.00-08.00 / 22.00-07.00 (sleep in & waking night shifts)

We are looking for:

• Experience in support worker
• Knowledge & understanding of learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
• Experience working in a similar role supporting adults
• Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
• Ability to promote individual choices, rights & dignity
• Understanding behaviours that challenge
• Able to follow individual care plans & risk assessments, promting person centred support
• Support with daily activities e.g. community access, cooking, laundry, cleaning etc.
• Happy to support with person care if required
• Enhanced valid Child & Adult DBS on the update service
• Able to drive & have access to a vehicle - desirable
