We are recruiting for a Test Technician to join an established, growing, SME with plans to grow and expand the business further. The company offers a close-knit, relaxed and friendly culture with an approachable management team. Our client provides industry leading electronic design services and embedded system design solutions to industry with the additional feature of providing in -  house manufacturing services including box – build.

Our client is seeking a Test Technician to join the team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring day to day testing is carried out, including debugging products down to board level, assisting the engineering team with the development of products and fault finding.

Test Technician Benefits:

• Salary up to £36,000 p/a.
• Monday to Friday 8 am – 5pm with half day on a Friday.

• Test Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
• Day to day product testing.
• Debugging products down to board level.
• Assisting the engineering team with the development of new products.
• Fault finding and debug to board level with electronic products.
• Documenting test results.
• Maintaining test equipment including cleaning and calibration.
• Keeping up with new techniques and developments in the service and testing of equipment.
• Following health and safety guidelines.
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy.

Test Technician Qualifications and Skills required:

• Experience of undertaking hands-on work within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience of being able to debug and fault find to board level with electronic products.Good knowledge of circuit diagrams.
• A relevant technical qualification is desirable.
