Due to continued growth, my client requires experienced Toolmakers to work as part of a small team. Reporting to the Toolmaking Team Leader your role will be to build, assemble test and problem solve tool assemblies. As part f this duty there will be requirement to machine parts and carry out quality assessment. This role requires a high level of personal flexibility.

Duties and responsibilities
Build a wide range of tools in line with assembly drawings or the status of a tool
Strip and assess tools providing a full technical assessment that will be presented to clients
Machine parts as required, either for tools or as standalone orders
Work closely with the design team advising on suitability of designs for manufacture
Attend customer's premises home and abroad as required to assist with installations, problem solving and commissioning.
Problem solving of tools under test or installation.
A good understanding of limits, fits and tool build up principles
A good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics as they relate to tool function.
Flexibility to operate and work across a wide range of customer tooling.
Travel may be necessary to trial and commission tooling at customers premises.
Flexibility required to suit customer requirements
