Do you have previous experience dealing with parts or tooling or machinging, or similar background? Join our client as a Tooling and Parts Administrator.
The Tooling and Parts Administrator will:
- Take calls from customers
- Gain deep knowledge about tools and their application to the machines
- Promote sales of tooling via office-based marketing methods
- Prepare quotations for tooling and following these up
- Visit customers to provide advice and support
- Work with a minimum of supervision but maximum initiative in the interests of the company
- Proactively engage with other members of the team to ensure genuine customer issues are resolved
- Provide cover for the stores during holiday periods
The Tooling and Parts Administrator will be:
- Keen to learn and looking for a long-term position with good career progression
- Organised, flexible, positive team player
- A strong communicator at all levels
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Have a technical mindset and the drive to learn
- Ideally have experience of the woodworking industry or machinist or related sales experience
