Warehouse Admin/Operator

Vibe Recruit are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join a busy and growing operation in the Hengoed area. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for someone reliable, flexible, and committed - not a short-term quick fix.

Hours of Work

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

(Full-time, office-based)

Pay Rate

• £12.48 per hour

Role Overview

This is a mixed administrative and warehouse role, consisting of approximately:

• 75% Administration
• 25% Warehouse Duties

The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse administration, despatch, transport coordination, and goods-in/goods-out processes. You will be supporting the office and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations, accurate paperwork, and efficient dispatching.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling incoming goods and despatch documentation
• Booking transport and scheduling collections
• Creating and maintaining all related paperwork
• Liaising with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting general warehouse duties as needed (approx. 25%)
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and health & safety guidelines
• Assisting with stock checks and inventory updates

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse administrative or despatch admin role
• Knowledge of transport booking, despatch processes, and goods-in procedures
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident dealing with customers, drivers, and warehouse personnel
• IT literate with good attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to support warehouse tasks when required
• Looking for a long-term role with the view to permanence
