We are currently recruiting for an Aftermarket Sales Engineer to join a forward thinking, award winning manufacturer in Brighouse. The firm in question is founded upon a heritage of British engineering excellence and offers end-to-end engineering solutions, enabling clients to meet their core imperatives.

Aftermarket Sales Engineer you will:

Qualify enquiries and prepare and submit Aftermarket quotations for specific products targeted to deliver the required level of Sales volume for the Division.

Objectives:

• Review enquiries and qualify them. Therefore checking to ensure the required information is available to allow Severn to size and select a suitable product.
• Correspond with external Sales and Customers to find any missing information.
• Size and select the appropriate products to meet the parameters of the enquiry and that give Severn the best viable commercial chance in winning a subsequent purchase order.
• Handling customer queries and clarifications.
• Initial order entry and Contract review.
• Work in conjunction with Gloucester & Chennai Offices as and when required.

Education and/or Experience:

• Proven background in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven background in Engineering Sales.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel, Outlook, Teams, Word and an understanding/experience of using a CRM system.
