Production Manager

My client based in Swansea are looking for a Production Manager to join their small and friendly team.

After growing considerably both during and after the covid pandemic my client is going from strength to strength, and now have an opportunity within their senior management team.

This really is a lovely working environment and the opportunity to work with a family run business who really value their team.

You will need to be an excellent man-manager, and ideally will have worked in an SME. You will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 12 production staff, and will be trusted to nurture and encourage the team to achieve growth and success.

They are focused on manufacturing quality products that are bespoke to their clients needs, so ideally would suit someone who is used to working in a manufacturing facility where products are bespoke.

You will be responsible for:
Ensuring all H&S policies and procedures are adhered to by the manufacturing team.
Achieving production output
Training and development of employees
Management of manufacturing costs to a budget
Delivery and achievement of all manufacturing KPI's
Motivating, Supporting and providing guidance to production staff
Setting productivity goals for manufacturing team
Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues
Evaluating machine and labour resources
Monitoring product standards


You will need to be customer focused with excellent communication skills. You must be driven and enthusiastic with excellent attention to detail.
