Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Chepstow
Rate of pay: £8.25ph
Shifts: TBC

Our client has more than sixty years of expertise and operations in major countries around the globe, their building systems have been specified for many of the world's most advanced and prestigious buildings. They have exciting opportunities for Production Operatives to join their fast-paced business on a temp - perm basis. The successful candidate will be reporting directly into the Team Leader and carrying out a range of duties on a vertical powder paint line for aluminium extrusions, working both independently and as part of a team to ensure a high standard of service is delivered at all times.

OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO THE LOCATION

Responsibilities:

To ensure that all items assembled on the production line are correct and of the required standard.
Fault find and report any defects or problems.
To carry out cleaning of equipment when required.
To ensure the production area is kept in a clean operative state.
Ensures that the Health & Safety requirements of the Company are adhered at all times, identifying and reporting any potential safety issues to the relevant personnel.
Any other duties that may be required

Knowledge, experience and skills:

Proven production experience in a similar environment
Ability to perform manual handling (heavy lifting)
Good communication skills
Positive attitude
Strong problem-solving skills,
Pro-active and solutions-focused
Reliable and trustworthy
