Solderer

Vibe Recruit are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components, with the ability to assemble and solder various parts with precision. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Duties

• Assemble electronic components and systems using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform soldering tasks on both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components.
• Conduct inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty assemblies, applying mechanical knowledge as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to assembly tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, with an understanding of electrical systems and logic controllers.
• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
