Vibe Recruit are looking for an enthusiastic Joiner to join our client’s team and help ensure that they continue to deliver a high-quality service to their customers based in Cwmbran.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be proficient in various construction techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Duties

• Fabricate and assemble wooden furniture.
• Carry out roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
• Execute finishing work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects.
• Use power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
• Perform plumbing tasks as required, ensuring all installations meet industry standards.
• Engage in masonry work when necessary, contributing to the overall structural integrity of projects.
• Handle heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials safely on-site.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter with a solid portfolio of completed work.
• Proficiency in using power tools and machinery relevant to joinery tasks.
• Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours.
• A valid driver's licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
