Warehouse Operative

Vibe Recruit is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picking and Packing Operatives for our client located at Westcott Venture Park, Near Aylesbury. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of the warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock Reporting: Accurately report any stock differences observed on the picking list.
• Warehouse Operations: Engage in general warehouse duties, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proactive working practices.
• Stock Handling: Locate and transfer stock products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment purposes.
• Quality Control: Identify and report any damages, shortages, or quality issues in the products handled.
• Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of inventory and activity logs.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines to ensure operational standards.
• Safety Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly environment within the warehouse facilities.

Candidate Specification:

• Health and Safety: Commitment to always adhering to health and safety standards.
• Quality Assurance: Ability to check the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Equipment Management: Competence in equipment maintenance and inventory control.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively operate and control warehouse equipment.
• Critical Thinking: Capable of problem-solving and making informed decisions regarding stocking, stacking, and packing processes.

Personal Qualities:

• Adaptability: Flexible and open-minded with a positive attitude.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.

This is a temporary position40 hours per week: Monday - Friday. 7am 4pm or 8am - 5pm

£12.00 per hour

Due to location you would be required to be a car owner/ driver -this role is not commutable via public transport.
