Field Service Engineer - Plant Machinery - Kidlington/Oxfordshire - £30,000 - £40,000
Role: Field Service Engineer
Field: Machinery/Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
Reporting to: Service Supervisor
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00 - 16:30 (Overtime after 8 hours, the first 4 hours at time and a half, thereafter paid at double time (daily)

A Field Service Engineer is required to work for a leading machinery equipment manufacturer based around Oxfordshire.
The role:
The main duties of this role are machine diagnostics, servicing and repairs to all product ranges. As this is a customer facing role, you will be required to build strong customer relationships. The objective of this role is to provide the customer with a World Class customer service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Attend customer premises to fault find, repair, maintain equipment
- Assist with the planning and completion of product repairs and always adhering to industry standard safety regulations
- Work internally when needed with the organisations internal manufacturing teams
- Identifying and reporting faults with equipment's
- Planned and preventative maintenance schedules, breakdowns and associated maintenance tasks
- Carry out regular inspections and diagnose faults
- Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose
Skills and Experience:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in an engineering subject or equivalent and have experience in the construction, HGV or agriculture heavy plant machinery sectors including servicing and maintenance
- Experience on hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions manual and power shift, cam-bus electrical systems and working on JCB machinery or equivalent
- Portfolio of certification/achievements required
- Full UK driving licence required
