Salary: £30,420 per annum (£15.00 per hour)
Hours: 39 hours per week - Days Only
Contract: Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Test Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing and fault-finding on electrical and electronic assemblies, ensuring products meet the required quality and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and functional testing of electrical assemblies, wiring looms and PCBs.

• Use testing equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, LCR meters and insulation testers.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings and test specifications.

• Identify faults, investigate defects and support corrective actions.

• Ensure all testing is completed accurately and within production deadlines.

• Maintain quality standards and accurate inspection documentation.

• Work closely with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in electrical or electronic testing within a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

• Experience using electrical testing equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.

• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Basic IT skills and the ability to follow technical procedures.

Desirable:

• Experience fault-finding down to component level.

• Knowledge of PLCs, RF systems or high-power electronics.
