Test Technician

Test Technician - Based in Aberdare - Permanent Role

Working hours: 7.45am - 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and a 1pm finish on Friday (39 hours per week)

VibeRecruit is working on behalf of an established electronic manufacturer who carry out full assembly, testing & distribution from their main facility based in Aberdare. Their services are targeted towards a range of sectors including defense, avionics, medical, automotive and the domestic market.

Due to increased operational requirements they are currently seeking a Test Technician to carry out inspection & testing of mechanically wired & soldered assemblies and PCB's using the appropriate testing equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspection & testing within manufacturers specifications while ensuring wiring, soldering or mechanically assembled equipment are consistent with quality standards at all times.

It is also crucial that testing notes, schedules, bills of materials & drawings are updated & maintained on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will come from a similar electrical manufacturing background with a demonstrated track record of assembly & PCB testing. They will require experience using digital multi-meters, LCR meters, oscilloscopes and machine testing equipment.

Ability to read electrical schematics & engineering drawings is also an advantage.
