CNC Miller / Setter Operator

Location: Warwick
Salary: Up to £39,507 per annum including shift allowance
Hours: Permanent Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-Time

Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller / Setter Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Warwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller who is confident setting and operating machines, working from engineering drawings and producing high-quality precision components.

Working Hours - Afternoon Shift Only

• Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:30pm

• Friday: 12:46pm - 5:30pm

This is a fixed afternoon shift, not a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

• Set tooling, offsets and fixtures, making adjustments where required.

• Carry out first-off and in-process quality inspections.

• Monitor machine performance and ensure production targets are achieved.

• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Setter Operator.

• Ability to independently set and operate CNC milling machines.

• Confident reading engineering drawings.

• Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazak or Haas.

• Competent using precision measuring equipment.

• Good understanding of cutting tools, speeds and feeds.

• Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis milling would be advantageous.
