Position: Data Cabling Engineer

Location: West Oxfordshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Providing dedication to our customers to make sure they receive the latest cabling technology with the best manufacturer's. The sales team are highly trained in installation practices understanding the regulations and cost restraints in today's market. They always carry out site surveys with sales and project managers to ensure a tailored solution for your network.

Role overview:

We are looking for experienced data cabling engineers to join our team. Engineers report to this office at the start of the day. Contracts are either Oxfordshire and surrounding areas and UK wide.

Experience and or familiar with the following:

• A strong, structured cabling background
• Installation and termination of all types of copper cables, Cat5e, Cat 6 and Cat 6A
• Installation and termination of Single-Mode and Multi-Mode Fibre
• Installation and troubleshooting of telephony cabling
• Installation of containment solutions
• Experience with the installation of high-end network and PC equipment
• Deployment of Wi-Fi hardware
• Setting up, use and interpretation of the results from a fluke DSX 5000 tester
• Ability to demonstrate good trouble shooting skills
• Able to work as part of a team or independently
• Highly motivated
• Reliable
• Good communicator
• Customer facing skills
• Excellent understanding of health and safety practice preferable with either CSCS or ECS
• Clean driving licence
• A passport
• IPAF/PASMA
• DBS approved
