Management Accountant

My client has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their clients food manufacturing organisation, based in Haverfordwest.

You will be responsible for:

• Financial Accounting for 4 Divisions
• Weekly, 4-weekly and Annual Financial reports
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Frequent analysis of financial performance
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Ability to review and improve processes to improve efficiencies
• Liaising with external partners, from auditors to statutory bodies
• Business partnering the wider business
• Assisting with projects affecting the strategic growth of the company

You will play an important role in determining the direction that the Company takes in its operations. You will be a strong team player and have excellent initiative and accuracy.

Skills and qualifications required:

• Professional qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent or working towards
• Strong data analysis skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent knowledge of Sage 200
