About the Role
Vibe Recruit is working exclusively on behalf of a dynamic and growing industrial and supply chain business to find a talented Business Development Manager to join their friendly sales team. This is a key role, focused on growing the customer base, developing strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service across a defined territory.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take a strategic approach to sales, combining commercial awareness with excellent relationship-building skills. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients while driving the company’s growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory plan in line with sales targets.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and solutions to meet client requirements.
- Use a CRM system to manage leads, appointments, and sales activity.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver high levels of customer service, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to exceed customer expectations.
- Consistently achieve and surpass sales and contribution targets.
- Track performance and provide structured reporting and updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in business development or industrial/B2B sales, ideally within engineering, supply chain, or similar sectors.
- Strong strategic selling skills with the ability to build relationships at multiple levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and target-focused.
- Strong time management, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management.
- Customer-first mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
