One of our successful clients based in the heart of Cardiff city centre is now seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their team due to business growth. This role comes with an amazing opportunity to gain industry recognised qualification within your first 18 months.

As a Payroll Assistant, you will ensure that the employees on payrolls are paid correctly, on time and in line with statutory legislation.

Payroll Assistant Main duties
-Upload weekly and monthly hours from other parts of business and process the data to strict timetable deadlines
-Deal with monthly payroll of 6,000 colleagues to ensure everyone is paid correctly
-Check electronic and manual starter/leaver/change forms
-Calculate and process SSP/ SMP/SPP/SAP
-Process P46/P45 tax forms, complete benefit forms and mortgage references

-Deal with any payroll queries via telephone, e-mail or post

What are we looking for in you?
-Previous experience of a Payroll Assistant role of a min. 1,5 years
-Great attention to details and communication skills
-Team player with a “can do attitudeâ€
