Class 2 Driver - Monday to Friday, 6:30am Start - Finish

Location: Chepstow

About the Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all loads are secure and arranged in drop order.

• Performing daily vehicle checks to maintain roadworthiness.

• Adhering to all current driving legislation and company safety standards.

• Delivering goods promptly and professionally, resolving any delivery issues as they arise.

• Following procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective offloading and distribution.

• Returning to the depot promptly after deliveries to assist with further tasks as needed.

• Maintaining a high standard of health and safety at all times.

• Demonstrating a proactive, customer-focused attitude and contributing to the performance and profitability of the business.

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPC certification (CPC training can be provided if required).

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Strong communication skills - confident, personable, and presentable.

• Able to meet delivery deadlines and work under pressure.

• Experience in handling and delivering metals or similar materials is preferred but not essential.
