Powder Coating Supervisor
Cardiff | £31,470 per annum + overtime | Full-time, permanent
The Role
Our client, a well-established metal coatings company in Cardiff, is looking for a hands-on Powder Coating Supervisor to lead a busy production team. This is a key role overseeing daily powder coating operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and supporting a team of operatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily powder coating and inspection processes
Allocate work, monitor output, and lead by example
Enforce safety, PPE, and housekeeping standards
Work closely with the department manager to plan workloads
What They're Looking For
Experience in manual powder coating, ideally in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of quality and health & safety practices
Overhead crane/forklift experience is desirable
Ability to lead, organise, and motivate a team
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Also Considered:
Supervisors or team leaders from related trades (e.g. wet paint, fabrication) with a practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
